Mindfulness Based Self Care (MBSC) is a course that was developed to share the benefits of living consciously and mindfully in each moment of our lives. It was adapted from the mindfulness principles developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn – creator of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Massachusetts. This course has been to numerous groups and classes. We are excited to share this with you online.
Your annual subscription gives you access at any time to the content of MBSC. You can view and re-view modules at you own pace for a deeper, more powerful learning experience.
Mindfulness is the natural state of living moment by moment. You will learn how to use the power of your mind to live each moment with compassion for self and others, to open to your innate healing potential, and to live in gratitude and peace.
Mindfulness Meditation is a form of quieting the mind that is sweeping the country. from therapist offices to board rooms and NFL teams! Further, there are implications for the positive impact of mindfulness mediation on relationships – from couples to multi-national companies.
Through meditation the body is able to relax and allow natural healing to occur. It can be beneficial to everyone. It has been found that those who meditate use medical care/interventions 30-87% less than those who do not in all areas, other than childbirth.
When practicing meditation, the mind reaches a greater physical relaxation, mental calmness, and psychological balance.
